Dr. Jessica Freese joined Midway Veterinary Hospital in June of 2015 as an Associate Veterinarian. She grew up mostly in Arizona and New Mexico. After high school, Dr. Freese attended The University of New Mexico and earned her Bachelors in Biology with a minor in chemistry. She then went on to earn her Masters in Environmental Health with an emphasis in toxicology. She graduated in May of 2015 from Colorado State University- College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Freese has always had a lot of animals growing up. When she was 9 years old, she watched a surgery on a horse that was colicing. From that point on, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian.
Dr. Freese and her husband Andrew moved to Vancouver, WA after veterinary school to be closer to his family. Her parents live in New Mexico, where they breed and train racing quarter horses. Andrew is a certified arborist and heavy equipment operator.
Dr. Freese and Andrew have two Chihuahuas. Their names are Abby and Luca. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with family and going to the beach. Dr. Freese is very excited about her future helping animals and getting to know our clients at Midway Veterinary Hospital.
